week Hattie takes us to meet a business owner, in this episode of the show you meet many small business owners who together create this television series. Hattie is the creator and producer. Bruce Camber is the founder and executive producer; he occasionally comes on the air to talk about strategy and technology.

Bruce and Hattie began their work to develop the show in 1993.

You meet the show's syndicator, Chuck McConnell of National Educational Telecommunications Association. Chuck McConnell was our mentor as well! He saw our demo tape and said, "Yes, we'll feed your program to public television." We thank Chuck for saying yes early on and also for mentoring us through the world of public television since 1994.

We thank all of our sponsors, especially those who have had a long-term commitment to the show – IBM, the US Postal Service and Verizon.

Our sponsors are all advocates for small business and they have included many of the finest businesses in the USA: Besides IBM the USPS, and Verizon, we thank Thomson Learning, Travelers PropertyCasualty, MassMutual, AT&T, MCI, Dun & Bradstreet, BusinessWeek, FORBES, Bell Atlantic and Nynex (which became Verizon with GTE), Southwestern Bell, USWest (and later Qwest), BancOne, Chase Bank, Bank of America, and the Edward Lowe Foundation. Our sponsors know that the world is in the midst of a small business revolution and they stand by to help small business owners achieve their dreams.

The US Small Business Administration was our advocacy partner to promote viewer tune-in among all their constituents in local offices, the 1500+ Small Business Developoment Centers, 50+ Business Information Centers and 15,000+ people involved with the Service Corp Of Retired Executives (SCORE).

And, we thank you, our viewers, for watching over the years and for being so supportive. You can now watch many of the shows online. We have the stories of many, many more small business owners to share with you in the coming years, so please keep watching! And, tell a friend.

  • JOIN, JOIN, JOIN: Your professional associations in your industry are your key to continuing education, market research, collaborations, strategic partnerships, capital and so much more ... often you'll find that you enjoy like-minded people and many will become friends for life.
  • SUPPORT PUBLIC TELEVISION:
Become a member of your local station. If you are already, great. If not and your business is doing well, consider joining the Producers' Club ($1000).
