Minneapolis. First known as Grow Biz International, Inc., Winmark Corporation develops, franchises and operates value-oriented retail concepts for stores that buy, sell, trade and consign both the new and the used merchandise. When we did this story they had over 1,200 franchised stores across North America. Ron Olson is part owner of the business. We caught up with them through the Council of Growing Companies. With his partner, Jeff Dahlberg, he shares with us his Sliver of Genius.

Ron Olson, co-founder of GrowBizUPDATE: Since shooting the story, Ron and Jeff have pulled back and new management is in place.
