  We want to be constantly updating on our episode called People Power. There are approximately 10 million small businesses with employees. 25 million small businesses filed tax returns. There are an estimated 40 million small businesses if we include small office/home office (where business income is reported as personal income).   Very conservative estimates place the total number of small businesses with employees in the world at approximately 200 million. Small business ownership changes local communities, and as a result changes our world. Small businesses reflect the values of individuals and the values of a community. Small businesses lift communities out of poverty. Our world improves as this small business startup explosion gets a foothold outside of the USA. If you are aware of incredible stories of people who are successfully lifting themselves out of poverty, please let us know. Staying power. Each of our television stories is about a person who has staying power. In that light, we are in search of these kinds of businesses:

• A Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) Business Model that works. We have never done a show about a business based on an MLM model. There are always problems, mostly opportunistic and exploitive. If there is a good, sustainable model, we would like to know. Click Here.
  
  For ten years thousands of businesses have been recommended to us. And, we have been pitched and have reviewed many that were based on a multi-level marketing model. All were rejected. None of these MLM models had a simple limitation to their down lines and people expected to be rewarded on work in which they added no value. We believe, however, that there is a multi-level model with limits that should be tested and could build very functional yet variegated communities of interest.
